1. Dental Schools
While you will usually receive treatment from dental school students, all treatment is under the supervision of dental professors and senior dentists.

Currently, there are about 56 dental schools in 35 states. Most or all of these schools provide free or cheap dental care, all supervised by licensed dental professionals.

The link below is brought to you by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Here you will find federally-funded health and dental care facilities that will provide services, even if you have no health insurance or dental insurance. You pay what you can afford, based on your income.

We suggest using both "Finder" tools above. They will produce similar results, but in some cases, one tool may show a free dental clinic that is not listed on the other.
3. National and Local Charitable Organizations
Operation Blessing International. This Christian organization has dental clinics that provide free dental services for people in need throughout the United States. All of its dentists are volunteers.
Your Local United Way. The mission of United Way is to improve the lives of individuals through strengthening the community. This non-profit agency may be able to direct you to low-cost or free dental services in your area.
